Dr Colin Ritchie

Background

I am currently working as a Consultant Orthodontist at Edinburgh Dental Institute, previously having completed my orthodontic training at the Dundee Dental Hospital and Research School. Most recently I have obtained the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In my early career I studied Aeronautical Engineering at Queens University Belfast. The study and practice of Orthodontics combines both my engineering and dental backgrounds and is a specialty I find very rewarding.   I am currently completing a PhD at present focused on computer modelling in orthodontics.
