Following this she worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Newcastle General Hospital, whilst completing MFDS examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2010 she joined the Royal Army Dental Corps, where she has served in a variety of locations across the UK, Germany, Gibraltar and Kenya as Senior Dental Officer. She obtained an MSc in Primary Dental Care with distinction at Edinburgh Dental Institute in 2016 and a Masters in Public Health with distinction at the University of Birmingham in 2018. Sarah joined the team at Edinburgh Dental Institute as a clinical tutor in 2018 and has subsequently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education.
