She moved to Aberdeen for VT and continues to work there in general practice. In December 2014, she gained a distinction in her Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies from the University of Bristol and in January 2020 was further awarded a Master of Science also with distinction. From 2016-2024, in addition to working in general practice, Rebecca held an appointment as a part-time Clinical Lecturer (scholarship) at the University of Aberdeen. As well as being responsible for clinical supervision across the full undergraduate BDS programme, she was course lead for various modules within restorative dentistry. During this time she undertook her PGCert in clinical education and was awarded a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Member of the Faculty of Dental Trainers (RCSEd) as she developed as a dental educator.
